About me & my photography…

You have probably done a little (or a lot!) of research into the type of look and feel that you want for your wedding; you would like it to reflect you, reflect your personalities and your love for one another.  Photography is such a huge part of that decision, it should fit seamlessly into your wedding so that the photographs you come away with are a true reflection of the events unfolding throughout your day.  So choosing the right photographer for you could be one of the most important choices that you make , so to help you out with your decision making here are a few things about me…

My photography style…

At heart I’m a visual storyteller… I want my photography to share your story in a way that is unique and beautiful and to do that I work a bit differently… I embrace natural light, from the soft light of dawn to the golden twilight it lends a soft, romantic, almost ethereal quality to my work. Using a natural, reportage style, I’m unobtrusive and observant- that way it’s relaxed, more fun, and means I can capture all those intimate, unguarded moments and emotions that make up your day.

A little about me…

Choosing the right photographer for you is not only about a love of their style, but just as important is feeling happy and comforable with the person; so to get to know me better…

  • I love coffee and anything sweet that goes along with it, especially cake! My favourite place in the world (so far) is Florence, it has the most wonderful magic and lots of wonderful memories.

  • I love old libraries; would spend all day in a book if I could. In fact I have been known to finish a rather heafty book in a day or so (that means you Mr Harry Potter)

  • The best gift I have ever received is my beautiful piano from my husband. My Piano is my yoga (I like yoga too)

  • I have a cheeky little white Fiat 500 who lives most of her life in the garage or zipping about to weddings, she will age most gracefully.

  • Photography makes me see the world in a different way, I look at life through a lens (even when I don’t) and it makes things beautiful.

  • I love my wonderful husband and I truly believe in the beauty of marriage. Most importantly I love to photograph weddings.
