Summer wedding photography at West Mill

A bit of history…

The West Mill is one of those wedding venues that feels a bit different, a bit special. As much as I love a good stately home, I find something super inspirational about the old industrial vibe of West Mill weddings. West Mill dates back to the early 1800’s, where it was originally built as a cotton mill, it continued as a mill until it was left derelict for a time before it was lovingly restored back to its original charm and transformed into a wedding venue. The renovation has retained all of the old industrial architecture of the 1800’s, with those amazing original windows and exposed brick work. I love how creative the various spaces allow us to be, and all of that dramatic natural light, West Mill wedding photography is a photographers dream! I don’t think there is a single photograph in their collection that isn’t full of laughter which is just reflective of what a fun, relaxed and beautiful wedding it was. One of my favourite wedding venues, combined with a gorgeous and fun filled couple; you can’t get better than that…
