Summer wedding at Hodsock Priory – Shelly & Steve

On one of the hottest days of the summer Shelly & Steve got married in a glorious outdoor wedding ceremony at Hodsock Priory. The day was full of sunshine in more ways than simply the blazing weather, from outbursts of laughter during the signing of the register to the emotional speech by the grooms daughter the day was full of the most fantastic moments to capture. I had such a fun, and very sweaty day, with this lovely pair and here is a selection of a few favourites from their collection of Hodsock Priory wedding photography.

A bit of history…
Photographing a Hodsock Priory wedding is dream venue for any wedding photographer. The Priory dates as far back as 1086, where it is listed in the Doomsday book, and has entertained three Kings of England including Henry VIII! Whist the inside of the Priory is stunning and chock full of charm and character it’s the beautiful grounds and gardens that sell it to many couples for their wedding at Hodsock Priory. What better a location to hold a picturesque outside ceremony for your big day, and that is exactly what Shelly & Steve did for their wedding. Their ceremony was held in the stunning gardens at Hodsock Priory and it felt positively tropical in the blazing summer sun.
