Trent Vineyard Nottingham & Waltham in the Wolds

It’s the simple things that make a wedding. If the last few years have taught is anything it is just how important simply friends and family are to our happiness. When we strip away all of the unnecessary frivolities it reveals what is truly important, and the same can be said for the wedding industry. What have couple missed most, why did they choose to postpone their weddings for sometimes what ended up being years? It was because being surrounded by your loved ones, celebrating your joy with the people who mean the most to you is what makes a wedding day special.
Charlotte & Dan’s wedding was one of my early weddings back after the various lock downs of 2020 and had joy in absolute bucket loads. They had a large ceremony with the church community they are heavily involved in, and it was just wonderful (and I must admit pretty emotional) to see so many people celebrating together after so long. They had their ceremony at Trent Vineyard in Nottingham, a huge space for their large congregation, and the voices raised in song during the service absolutely filled the space with joy. The followed the ceremony with a reception at the local village hall in Waltham in the Wolds. A sweet little village nestled in the Leicestershire countryside, and we certainly made the most of those gorgeous countryside views.
Capturing the natural moments shared between the friends and family was an utter delight at this wedding. Everyone was so happy and the laughter was plentiful which is always such a treat for a candid photographer like me, my face was aching from smiling behind the camera as I captured smile after smile.
