Gorcott Hall wedding photography
Nestled away in the countryside just outside Redditch is the hidden beauty that is Gorcott Hall. The 16th century Tudor Manor not only hosts weddings throughout the year but it still lived in by the family that own it! I had an explore inside when I arrived and completely fell in love with it’s quirky charm.
I’ve had quite some difficulty putting into words Ellie & Alex’s wedding day. I knew from the moment I first chatted with Ellie & her Mum when she very first booked, that this wedding was going to be special; that there was something magical in the joining together of these two lovely families. The ceremony itself was held in the church that Ellie & Alex attended while they were at university. It was a huge space, but it was bursting at the seems with all the friends and family joining Ellie & Alex to celebrate their marriage with them. After the ceremony the couple had arranged tea and cake in the church for the guests to enjoy and afterwards everyone and finished sipping tea the couple were given a glorious send off to their reception at Gorcott Hall by the best confetti tunnel I have ever witnessed! You really can never have enough confetti.
I don’t think I have ever seen such a smiley bride, Ellie face literally beamed all day, her joy and the joy of those around her was infectious. I left that wedding with such a lightness in my heart, reminded of how lucky I am to be chosen to capture these amazing moments.

A big thank you to my second photographer Kate for sharing this day with me. If you are planning a wedding at Gorcott Hall I’d love to hear from you
