I had my first experience of Gorcott Hall wedding photography this summer with the colourfully vibrant, joy filled, sunny summer wedding of Ellie & Alex, and I was super excited to make the trip again in the autumn. The venue looked warm and cosy filled with autumn colours and even the bride’s vibrant red hair made the autumn tones of the day pop.
Gorcott Hall autumn wedding
Nestled away in the countryside just outside Redditch is the hidden beauty that is Gorcott Hall. The 16th century Tudor Manor not only hosts weddings throughout the year but it still lived in by the family that own it! I fell in love with it’s quirky charm earlier in the year and had just as much fun photographing it for Julie & Shaun’s autumn wedding.
I didn’t get the opportunity to explore the photographic potential inside the main house at my last wedding, as the ceremony took place in a church a little distance away. But Julie & Shaun had their ceremony in the cosy barn next to the main house which allowed us plenty of time to make the most of the atmospheric library inside the old Tudor Manor. We popped in just as it started to drizzle outside and the light coming in through the little window was just delicious. The way it picked out the soft details of the lace on Julie’s gown was just beautiful.
If you are searching for Gorcott Hall wedding photography for your own wedding then I’d love to hear from you.
