I feel like my Blackwell Grange wedding photography consistently involves bright blue skies and glorious sunshine, it must be some sort of Cotswolds micro climate! Emily & Lewis’ beautiful Blackwell Grange wedding was no exception, the stunning thatch barn was backed by that vibrant summer blue and the light sparkled through the beds of lavender.

When they say that a wedding is a joining of not only two people, but two families they must have had this wedding in mind. The day was filled with such warmth and happiness, you could feel the joy in the summer air. I loved all the thoughtful touches that Emily and Lewis included through out their Blackwell Grange wedding. The tables were named after different places the couple had visited, which as Lewis is a pilot turns out to be a fair few. The martini bar was one of my favourite touches, so pretty and looked delicious! They had filled the grass area around Blackwell Grange with garden games and a table tennis table which went down a storm and was the perfect opportunity for some fab action shots! Also the perfect opportunity for two excitable photographers to have a few games of table tennis during the wedding breakfast!
The day was everything I love about wedding photography; Blackwell Grange looked beautiful in the sunshine, the guests were having fun and enjoying the relaxed atmosphere, we had plenty of time to mingle through the guests capturing all of those unique moments and we got a stunning golden hour to finish off the couple portraits; we even ended a wonderful day with a slice of pizza!
