It’s been another busy year and I have had some amazing weddings and met some fantastic people! I am so lucky that my job brings me into people’s lives on their happiest moments and that I get to capture those moments for them to treasure forever.
I have neglected the blog over the summer so it’s about time that I share some of those fantastic weddings from this year. I am going to start with Lucy & Adam’s beautiful garden wedding from the height of this summer; the weather was amazing and the atmosphere was so relaxed and fun it made for a fantastic day.
After a beautiful ceremony at St Michael’s Church in Rossington, Lucy & Adam chose The Secret Garden in Gringley on the Hill for their wedding reception. A venue I haven’t visited before and what an amazing choice! It had a really magical feel and the beautiful vintage décor that Lucy & Adam created for the marque looked so pretty! In fact Lucy & Adam added many lovely personal details to their day, from a fab performance by Lucy’s musical bridesmaids and friends (including the bride herself on a few occasions!) to an outside photo booth with props and frames hanging from the trees! Even the wedding cake was created by Adam’s Mum and looked absolutely beautiful.
I particularly loved the flowers on the day; Lucy had a relaxed vintage style to the day, including her stunning lace gown and floral crown, and the hand gathered bouquet by Catkin Flowers looked perfect. The decor in the marque was really beautiful and I had to stop myself spend hours in there snapping all of the gorgeous detail, Lucy & Adam clearly paid a lot of attention to the special little details throughout the day and it created a beautiful overal feel of country garden vintage. However, all the little details aside, the overarching feel of the day was quite clearly joy and laughter. Everyone at the wedding could just feel how happy Lucy & Adam were and all of their friends and family together simply had a wonderful time! All the way through from the ceremony to the silent disco at night there was joy and laughter all around.
So sit back, grab a cuppa, and enjoy some of the moments, details and general beauty of Lucy & Adam’s big day…
