I make no apologies for this epic length of this post; make yourself a cuppa, relax and enjoy Natalie & Steve’s beautiful wedding. I haven’t had the opportunity to blog in a while so I am super excited to share these wedding photographs with you. Natalie and Steve decided to have their wedding at the gorgeous Norwood Park in Nottinghamshire (secretly one of my most favourite venues) and it didn’t disappoint. Even though it didn’t stop raining all day it was a beautiful wedding with so many lovely intimate touches; Natalie & Steve made all of the venue decorations themselves and the soft colours and natural textures really complemented the beautiful venue. I literally couldn’t stop snapping all day! I don’t have nearly enough room to share all of the photos that I would like to now so keep your eyes out for another post soon.
I’m not a fan of the traditional posed wedding photographs and don’t usually spend a lot of time setting up the pretend ‘signing the register’ shot, but I love to keep my camera poised for moments like this that happen after the bride and groom have signed and think nobody is looking! The good photographer is always looking! A friend of Natalie & Steve made their amazing wedding cake, its not often that I come across a wedding cake that I dont want to dive head first into but this one looked especially delicious.
The reception room looked stunning with Natalie & Steve’s attention to detail. I loved all of the natural materials andthe use of hessian as the table runners (inspired), and you’re never to old for a jar of mini eggs!
Part two of Natalie and Steve’s wedding will be coming soon, get ready for lots of beautiful romance, a bit of rain and an ivory umbrella!
