Travel ~ Pretty South of FranceBehind the lens

Today I’m sharing another instalment of my ‘behind the lens’ series about me, my life, my travels, my loves – to give all you lovely wedding couples, searching for the photographer who is the perfect fit for you, a good old reason to get in touch.

My husband and I went for a picnic a few weeks ago, while we were in midst of that glorious little spring heat wave. We took crusty bread, lots of cheese and a bottle of wine and both sat on our blanket and exclaimed how much we missed France. To us France means driving through the beautiful country side, stopping at picturesque little villages to sip coffee under the shade of a café umbrella and of course cheese and wine picnics! Venturing further afield for a few years has meant we haven’t visited France in a while and we miss it. I love the slower pace of life, the simple joy of a great coffee and pastry in the early morning sunshine. I love how everything closes around mid-day for the whole village to take a nap and late evening meals sat outside with the scents of garlic wafting on the warm evening air.

The collection of images here is a little look at a holiday we took to Carcassonne and the surrounding areas in the South of France. I love how the light looks cleaner in France.  I am passionate about light, and not just as a photographer. Light in general makes me happy, and I appreciate the clean intensity of the light in the South of France, it makes me want to shoot a wedding in the South of France so much!!

So if you having a wedding in France are looking for a photographer with an obsession with light then I’m your girl– I’d love to hear from you.
